Culture Manifestation

Culture Manifestation! This is of least importance in today's world, as this is obviously driven by one’s understanding of the importance/value of one’s own culture which is kind of impossible in current times when almost everyone, driven by one's curious mind, is running after foreign things without giving much thought about worthiness of these.

In my opinion, culture manifestation is very important and plays a vital role in educating everyone (including ourselves as sometimes we forget our own culture/values and do the things, we shouldn’t) with our culture. I would like to clear one thing that I, in any way, am not suggesting to hold on to only our own culture and not to accept/respect that of others. I, in fact, know/believe that no culture is perfect, and that’s why with culture manifestation I am suggesting to bring it in the notice of others, and thereby provoking a healthy and effective discussion on various cultures enabling everyone to get to know about various cultures; leaving/ignoring something just because of its few problems is not really an Indian way of doing things.

Culture is constituted of many things including architecture, art, etc. Therefore, there could be many ways to achieve culture manifestation; below are some of these.

  1. Placing Statues of famous personalities in Parks/Public places – This approach helps to manifest country culture showing the famous and important personalities and their details.
  2. Celebrating our festivals – It is one of the things that we are ignoring now-a-days. We should always celebrate all our festivals with happiness and enthusiasm as this is one of the things which keep us very close to our culture.
  3. Using ancient art practices while constructing buildings - This is about using ancient designs or carving scriptures on the buildings which will in its own way demonstrate our rich and vast culture.
  4. Organizing Exhibitions - This, I think, is at all missing in India when it comes to exhibit our culture. We should really focus on this and try to showcase our ancient excellent artworks.
  5. Conducting Seminars - Same as exhibitions, I don't think that we had/have any seminars to educate the people regarding our great and diverse culture.
  6. Advertising existing museums/Introducing new museums - Although not much, India has got some museums. There however is a big lack of advertising as very few of Indian people know about Indian museums. We should advertise and make people aware of our museums, and also, introduce more museums.

Using any/some/all of the above methods is like hitting two targets with an arrow, as same could not only contribute to Culture Manifestation but these can also be used to make some profits by charging reasonable money to the visitors.

Thank you for spending your precious time in reading my blog! I would appreciate your comments to present your views on same.
